concerns of the muslim prisoners
By the blessing of Allah azzawajal we all are living in the comforts of our home we can go where we want and do what we like but there are people who are our dear brothers and sisters that are imprisoned and are alone sitting in between 4 closed walls and they have no one to talk to they are seperated from their families and kids and at times abused and tortured or killed.
If you know of any families of the prisoners , please try to go visit them and also encourage you wives to visit the wives of the prisoners and take your kids to play with their kids so they you minimize the phsychological effect the kids have due to their missing father or mother and also help them financially.
And some of the scholars of al-Andalus concerned themselves with the collection of donations for the purpose of releasing the Muslim prisoners imprisoned directly after the battles that took place between them and the Christians. So Abu Abdullah al-Hajaam [d. 614h] addressed the people in the mosque of Ishbeeliyah about the redemption of the prisoners, and the people hastened to that, many of them even took off some of what they had on... of clothing
